Working with students in higher education provided the impetus to create Days in the City. It was a way to help students understand the rich diversity of the built environment and all its design aspects. Buildings provide a wonderful 3D record of human ingenuity and interaction. And although originally designed for students to come to understand the built environment, ultimately Days in the City is for everyone. Indeed for anyone finding themselves with a day in the city.

Aberdeen is part of a rich Scottish heritage
